Street, Japan

Mount Fuji, Japan

Welcome!

My photography practice is primarily street and documentary with my work influenced by my former career in public services.

Documentary projects have included: Mustard Tree, a charity for homelessness; and The Other Blackpool, about life beyond the glitz of the promenade of this iconic seaside town, for which I was awarded Associateship of the Royal Photographic Society.

My documentary on people living alone in the UK, As Long As I Keep Busy, contributed to me being awarded an MA in Photography from Falmouth University - see and read more at my dedicated site here

My work has been featured in Humanity, the journal of The Centre for British Documentary Photography; exhibited by the Glasgow Gallery of Photography, Document Scotland and Shutter Hub; and longlisted for the Scottish Portrait Awards 2023.

Finally, if you would like to know more about me, see my Linkedin profile. In the meantime, Iā€™m currently working on a new project, Disappearing LIfe, about crofting in Scotland, where I now live.
